Ionus Cryptborn, depicted as one of Sigmar's most esteemed champions in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe, has been graced with a new, mysterious purpose after numerous lifetimes of service. Riding the draconith Cthorak, he returns to battle to confront the adversaries of the God-King Sigmar.
In the early days of the Age of Sigmar, Ionus fought alongside Vandus Hammerhand against the endless Goretide of Khorne, although their relationship has since become strained. As part of the Aqshian contingent of the Twin-Tailed Crusade against the Khornate tribes, Ionus, now known as the Warden of Lost Souls, has made a significant return, equipped with potent new abilities.
